Scrum Day MN is a not-for-profit event where individuals and organizations gather together to share their stories and network as a community. Scrum is all about people. Our speakers have volunteered to share their story to help others achieve success with their Scrum & Agile journey.

Keynote: HOW TO HAVE MORE, BETTER IDEAS
A fun and inspirational keynote by Tripp Crosby
For over a decade Tripp has been working with major brands and corporations to create hilarious and highly sharable video content. In that time Tripp has learned a few key principles related to ideation and collaboration that he loves sharing almost as much as he loves implementing.
In his presentation, Tripp presents a case that everyone should be an 'idea person' no matter what their job title is, then he demonstrates a few practical ways anyone can make more space to have them. He uses his own story of success (and failure) to illustrate what it means to make space for self discovery and some very interactive audience exercises to demonstrate what it looks like to make space for others to have new ideas.
Tripp’s desire is three fold: to give people a few things to think about as they re-enter the more mundane aspects of their jobs, to offer a few practical tools they can use in their daily lives to gain creative inspiration, and to give them a few good laughs while they are likely sitting through other more serious (probably more boring) presentations.

Continuing Education Units: Scrum Day MN is a Scrum Alliance Sponsored event. Attendees may claim 1 Scrum Alliance Scrum Education Units (SEUs) under Category C for each hour attended. Attending all day is worth 8 SEUs. Project Management Institute (PMI) credential holders seeking Professional Development Units (PDUs) will need to self-report. Self-reporting includes self-assigning sessions attended to the appropriate area of PMI's Talent Triangle.
